Becca Cruger is a mixed media and paper craft artist who believes art is a conduit to building community and empowering others.
She has been crafting ever since she discovered how to attach glitter to paper. She can frequently be found with ink all over her hands because she LOVES working with messy products - especially Tim Holtz Distress products. She is the owner of Damsel of Distressed in Grand Forks, ND and teaches card making and mixed media art classes. She designs a line of stamps for STAMPlorations and is part of their design team.
In 2019 she won the Emerging Artist award from Red Wing Arts Council, which followed a similar award by the Grand Forks Public Arts Commission in 2017. She is a current Bush Foundation Change Network participant and is working on “She Lives” a public art project designed to help women who’ve experienced domestic violence or sexual assault.
