Welcome to Creative Artiste Challenge #57

Welcome to all our crafty friends, followers and visitors to
Creative Artiste's #57th Challenge!

Happy 2020 everyone!
We hope you are looking forward to another year of craftiness. Thank you to everyone who shared their wonderful projects with us for Challenge #56 in December. Choosing a winner and Top Three was very difficult.
The winner's post is below this one. Have a look to see if you were successful.

Our theme is always,
"Anything Mixed Media Goes"

Please make sure you use multiple mediums on your  projects.

Before we have a look at our GDT and Design Team projects we have some fabulous news...
...We have a new DT member and would love you to welcome
JO to our team.

My name is Jo and I blog at Let’s Art Journal. I live by the sea in the North West of England with my hubby. I started Art Journaling in 2015 as a way of expressing my life through words and pictures and it has now become a passion of mine which I like to share with others. I’m captivated by the variety of techniques and materials that can be used to create so many different styles of art and love everything Mixed Media. I love nothing better than to experiment with different techniques and products, get creative, put my ideas into practice and have lots of fun doing so!
I am often inspired by things I see and do, and I'm also inspired by the quote “never lose your sense of wonder”.

Now let's have a look
at the wonderful projects our fabulous Design Team have created to inspire you ....
Our first GDT for February is:

Linda
Hi my name is Linda and I live here in the UK. I have been crafting for many years and my passion is mixed media. I love nothing better than getting all my paints, waxes, stencils etc to create a work of art. I hope you like my canvas as I had a lot of fun creating it.
Here are the links to my blog and my You Tube channel.

Our second GDT for February is:

Alison

Thanks so much for having me as a guest here at the Creative Artiste Challenge Blog.
My creativity never used to be on the visual side - I was more the words, music, books, theatre type. When I became a freelancer in Spring 2012 after eight years at the Royal Shakespeare Company as a Text and Voice Coach, it was supposed to give me more time for friends and family. I had no idea that within weeks I would be in thrall to a whole new creative passion - stamps/inks/paints/texture/stencils - you name it, I want to play with it! There's always so much to learn, discover and explore. Now I have to balance the two worlds - hence the name of my blog, Words and Pictures. So much for friends and family! I love mixed media work, with lots of layers and techniques, but sometimes some simple inking and stamping is enough to make me happy. For this project for Creative Artiste, I've used an old pendant watch I used to wear along with one of my quote stamps to create a little springtime Curio box, filled with my favourite wild flowers and grasses, as well as lots of mixed media textures on the box. I hope you like it! There are lots more pictures and details of how I made it over at Words and Pictures, so do come and pay me a visit.
