Hi everyone! I'm Elle, AKA Empire of the Cat, currently living in the Scottish countryside. There has always been paint and paper in my life for as long as I can remember, and I have been drawing since I was a kid. I am a journal artist mostly, with some cardmaking, tags, ATCs etc thrown in the mix.  I like to use as many recycled products as I can, and this page is an example as I used recycled food packaging from some Easter goodies.  I also like cats (I have three), being in nature, gardening, baking, crochet and books, and I am usually listening to audiobooks in my studio. I have been blogging since 2005 and you can find me at Empire of the Cat, where I share my arty adventures.
