Welcome to Creative Artiste Challenge #46

Happy New Year everyone! Welcome to our first challenge of 2019!

Creative Artiste's #46th Challenge!

Thank you to everyone who shared their wonderful projects with us for Challenge #45 in December.
The winner and Top Three were posted in January. Scroll down to have a look if you missed it.

We have decided to be sponsor free this year. That means our design team can create whatever projects take their fancy and have no restrictions on their creativity. So, our theme each month for the team is Anything Mixed Media Goes too!

The challenge theme
 this month is, as always,
"Anything Mixed Media Goes"
Please make sure you use multiple mediums on your  projects.

As you know, we held a DT call in December/January. The successful applicants bios feature in a separate post below this one and on our 'Meet Our Design Team' page. We are excited to be sharing our new line up with you today ....

That's it from our talented Design Team for this month. We hope we have inspired you.

New Design Team Members Revealed!

Welcome to 2019 at
Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge blog!

We have had a change to our design team line-up due to some of our team members moving on with their personal and crafting journeys. We wish them all the very best for the future.
As regular followers know, we held a DT call during December and January. Thank you to all of you who applied. We have chosen a team that we hope you will find inspiring with their talent and diversity.

Welcome to our new team members!

Hi everyone! My name is Cathy Frailey and I call West Virginia USA my home. I've been married for 35 yrs (yikes!) to a Marine and have 2 grown kids: a son (34) and a daughter (29). I've always been crafty, going back to grade school. I started with those doll kits back in the 70s - they had the foam body with all the sequins and trims to create a masterpiece! I still have them all! But I consider my first love to be decoupaging. And from there, I got into the crazy world of mixed media. I'm a mixed media artist, art journalist, & watercolor enthusiast. I'm also a DT for other companies/blogs and have my own challenge blog! Grungy, vintage, steampunk is my main style but I love experimenting. Anything outside the box or weird and wonderful and I'm there! I hope you'll visit me on social media!

My name is Ina and I live in Queensland Australia.

I have been married for going on 50 years and lucky my hubby supports my hobby as I do his - Guitars. I have been crafting for several years now, starting off Scrapbooking and then got hooked on card making. I have a variety of styles depending on the occasion and who they are for. Being retired gives me plenty of time to indulge in my craft. I love inking up my stamps, embossing and using my dies. I'm now hooked on mixed media, inky fingers and all.
I enjoy the friendships you develop with fellow Designers and learn so much from their styles and likes. Looking forward to New Adventures creating with The Talented Ladies at Creative Artiste Mixed Media.

Hi there! I'm Lynne from southwestern Ontario, Canada, and am married with two grown kids, six cats (yes, I'm that crazy cat lady!) and two dogs.
I've always enjoyed crafting of some sort, but began seriously papercrafting about ten years ago. My first love is layouts, but cards, home decor, art journaling, Bible journaling, assemblage, mini albums and altered items of all kinds have become part of my creative world, and I love to experiment and play with all the different supplies in my beloved craft room, combining the mediums just to see what happens! I have a pretty eclectic style, but especially enjoy working with soft, vintage colours and lots of texture.
I've been on a few design teams and I so enjoy the chance to get to know the other team members as well as the viewers and participants, and I hope you enjoy my contributions here.

Hi, my name is Suzette and I live in Kingston, Jamaica with my husband, 3 teenagers and too many pets! I  haven't always been an artist, art was never encouraged when I was in school. However, when I had my own children I wanted them to be creative thinkers so I bought many books on arts and crafts, a bunch of  supplies and had just as much fun as them making different things.
Over the years I have done scrapbooking, card making, paper mache sculptures, air dry clay sculptures, plaster sculptures, printmaking, art journaling and mixed media! I have certainly had a lot of fun. I go back and forth between each medium and more often than not, mix quite a few mediums together.

We hope you will continue to be supportive of our existing and new design team members and look forward to you joining us for Challenge #46.
