Hi everyone! I'm Elle, AKA Empire of the Cat, currently living in the Scottish countryside. There has always been paint and paper in my life for as long as I can remember, and I have been drawing since I was a kid. These days I do most of my art in journals and junk journals, with a few tags and ATCs etc thrown in the mix. I love mixed media and recycling as there are so many options available - maybe too many! LOL I also like crochet especially in the winter and I'm working on two blankets at the moment. I also like cats (I have three), being in nature, gardening, baking, and books, and I am usually listening to audio books in my studio. I have been blogging since 2005 and you can find me at Empire of the Cat, where I share my arty adventures.
